River certificates issued for our new Evac MBR 7K – 70K product range

Evac has received the Rhein River certificate for the new Advanced Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) product range. This new certificate strengthens our business position, especially in Germany, but also in other European countries. This is a result of the systematic continuous product development and competence of Evac R&D teams and process specialists. The certificate was issued on 11 Aug 2015 by Zentralstelle SUK/SEA in Mainz Germany.

Evac has delivered over 600 MBR units globally and the Evac membrane bioreactor (MBR) series represents advanced black and grey wastewater treatment solutions for all vessels. All Evac MBR units are certified according to IMO MARPOL MEPC.227(64), thus fulfilling the amendments to the MARPOL Annex IV as in MEPC.200(62) for passenger ships in restricted areas, e.g. the Baltic Sea. The Evac standard MBR is also available as a combined unit with integrated vacuum generation. The Evac MBR features low power consumption, owing to its low pressure submerged membranes. The quality of effluent is extremely high in all sea conditions and exceeds all current specifications.
Evac is a technology leader in marine waste water treatment systems and invests in continuous developments and new technologies.
