As a life-cycle service provider we are committed to providing you with expert advice and technical support covering every aspect of the operation and maintenance of your Evac Evolution system. This is available from our BWMS design and manufacturing centre in the UK or via Evac offices in 14 countries and representatives in more than 70 countries.

Should the need arise, experienced ballast water engineers can be deployed to ports and shipyards anywhere in the world to examine and rectify problems.

Service

With the aim of giving you complete peace of mind, we can provide tailor made service packages designed around the specific requirements of your vessels and their trading patterns. These flexible modules safeguard compliance, whilst ensuring Evac Evolution systems operate at the peak of efficiency. The packages can range from additional training and inventory management to the comprehensive provision of condition monitoring, stock availability in multiple locations and contracted on-board presence where required.

Spare Parts

We stock a comprehensive range of spare parts in the UK which are available for same day dispatch to ports and shipyards worldwide. To provide a faster local response, stocks of BWMS spares such as UV lamps, ‘O’ rings, CIP wiper blades and other consumable items are stored at strategically placed service centres.

In addition to offering on-board spares packages of key items, we can arrange to hold dedicated stocks of spares for owners and ship management companies.

Training

It is essential that crew members have a thorough understanding of the operation and maintenance of ballast water management systems to ensure that they remain in compliance. It is also a mandatory requirement of IMO and U.S. Coast Guard regulations. On-board training is provided by our experienced ballast water engineers following the commissioning of the system. There is the option of training on BWMS equipment in our UK service centre for larger groups of engineers or tailor made training courses held at customers’ premises anywhere in the world.

We also offer Fleet Support Training covering the suitability of various BWMS, advice on compliance, maintenance, trouble-shooting and other relevant topics.
