Evac Sustainability Report 2023 published

Evac, the global leader in cleantech solutions for marine and land-based applications, has published its annual sustainability report.

Evac’s sustainability report highlights the company’s progress in 2023, its dedication to protecting the marine environment, and its commitment to ensuring that its customers can go beyond regulatory compliance. Additionally, the report showcases Evac’s initiatives in the land-based customer segments, emphasizing the impact that vacuum technology can have on water conservation and real estate design flexibility.

“Our purpose of enabling a future with no waste in the maritime and land-based industries sits at the heart of our research and development activities. We are committed to supporting customers in achieving their sustainability targets and surpassing regulatory requirements. That sets us and our value chain an inspiring objective,” says Björn Ullbro, CEO of Evac.

In 2023, the company continued to advocate for adopting the best available technologies in waste and wastewater treatment, hull protection, and freshwater generation. Over the year, Evac’s novel HTC technology was listed among the TOP 30 circular innovations in Europe and the company’s latest innovation in ultrasonic antifouling technology, Cathelco USP DragGone, won the ‘Technology of the Year’ award in the European Decarbonization Awards.

“Leading a company dedicated to making a tangible difference is a great privilege. The report showcases our achievements and steadfast efforts in various areas of sustainability. We are proud of the progress we have made and remain committed to innovation and sustainability for the benefit of our stakeholders and society as a whole. Together with our customers and partners, we blaze the trail to a future with no waste,” Ullbro says.
