Evac Complete Cleantech Solution for marine industry

Purchasing all your water and waste management systems, as well as corrosion-protection systems, from a single supplier brings many benefits for both the ship owners and shipyards.

One supplier, many benefits

The Evac Complete Cleantech Solution covers all your needs, including vacuum collection, wastewater treatment, ballast water management, fresh water generation, marine growth prevention, corrosion protection as well as dry, wet, and food waste management. This comprehensive one-stop-shop offering is what sets us apart from the competition.

Purchasing all your waste, wastewater, and water management systems from a single supplier simplifies coordination and integration during your shipbuilding project. Once the systems are installed, it makes managing and maintaining them easier and more efficient.

Shipyard – shipbuilding and planning process

  • Fewer partners means easier communication and saves time on project coordination
  • Simplified system integration, and single point of contact for all system integration issues
  • Fewer critical interfaces between different systems.

Ship owner – operation and maintenance

  • Similar user interfaces and technologies make crew training easier and more efficient
  • Smooth and efficient system integration, management, and troubleshooting – all Evac systems can be monitored and controlled from the ship’s main automation system using a single common interface
  • Single point of contact for aftersales service and spares
  • Efficient spares procurement and logistics
  • Competitive pricing and more predictable costs
  • Reduced need for spare parts, and therefore lower inventory costs, as systems use many of the same components.

Reference project: Tallink’s Megastar ferry

Evac Complete Cleantech Solution including vacuum collection, waste water treatment, dry and wet waste treatment, fresh water generation and automation systems can be found aboard Megastar, the new generation LNG shuttle ferry of AS Tallink Grupp. The ferry is built at Meyer Turku Yard, Finland shipyard for delivery in the beginning of 2017. She is planned to carry 2800 passengers.

Green values, reduction of all emissions, minimizing the amount of waste and increasing recycling utilization, have been very carefully taken into account in the design of the ferry. The ship complies with the new and stricter emission regulations for the ECA areas including the Baltic Sea.
